FCFA partnered with @healthfornigeria to facilitate train-the-trainer sessions for their Nurse A School Program nurses on two topics – “Sanitation and Hygiene Management” and “HIV Prevention through Youth Education”.
We are incredibly proud of our MPH interns from @phsa.umsom , Ms. Morayo Owolabi and Ms. Angela Bbosa, for their efforts in leading the educational sessions.
One of our priorities at FCFA is to Improve the overall health and well-being of communities in the US and Sub-Saharan Africa through health education and strategic partnerships. #globalhealth

Our public health interns gave virtual presentations on “HIV Prevention” and “WASH Initiatives” to high school students of the Collège d’Enseignement Général 1 (CEG) de Savè, Republic of Benin, West Africa. 🗂️📝🇧🇯 🤝
Most of the learners were non-English speaking and received education in both French and English.
FCFA’s @mealsforkidzinitiative provided free, nutritious meals to at least 50 students while they engaged in learning. #globalhealth

In Commemoration of #childrensday in Nigeria, come May 26-27, the @fcfaglobal team will be in impoverished communities across Osun State to provide food and nutritional services to members of the community.

We are throwing back to when FCFA facilitated a medical outreach event at various regions of Oyo State, Nigeria providing screenings such as blood pressure, blood sugar and eye tests, as well as treatments for common preventable illnesses (February, 2019).
Events You Can Sponsor
- To sponsor ongoing food, hygiene supplies, and clothing donated to needy families at the FCFA Pantry in Ellicott City.
- To help fund our ongoing COVID-19 emergency relief efforts which promote food security and reduce the spread of coronavirus. We support homeless shelters and low-resource communities in Maryland by donating food supplies, prepared meals, PPEs, hygiene kits, and cleaning supplies to support families in need.
- To help us test more people and reduce the spread of COVID-19, HIV, and other sexually transmitted infections.
- To sponsor any of our local community outreach events e.g., “Annual Back to School Giveaway“, “Thanksgiving Dinner for the Homeless“, or other “Food Distribution Events” to fight against hunger in Maryland.
- To support us in providing on-site or off-site general health screenings such as blood pressure, blood sugar, eye tests, and treatments for common preventable illnesses.
- To help us raise funds for Maryland youths’ vocational training and workshops
- To empower families in rural regions of Sub-Saharan Africa who wish to start small businesses and support their families.
- To sponsor International community outreach events where we provide basic needs like food, shelter, clothing, and medication to families in need.
